What's in a name?

What does one name one's blog about their family?  Honestly, it's what held me back from starting a blog in the first place.  You see, we used to have a family website, but what I discovered is that it is difficult to maintain. Well, difficult in relative terms - I was manually creating archive pages, removing entries from the home page after a certain amount of time, creating links between pages... and at some point realized that most blog sites are set up to do all of these things for you.  And since we hadn't touched the website since January of this year, I figured it was time for a change.  But what to name that change?

After brainstorming by myself off and on for a few weeks, I finally asked Seth tonight what he thought.  At first he said he didn't care (which, of course, prompted me to tell him that he was useless), and then a couple minutes later he started throwing crazy names at me.  I've already forgotten most of them, but after some serious laughter, he hit on Goodmanology.  And it stuck.

So welcome, dear reader, to Goodmanology 101, an ongoing "lecture" series on our comings, goings, and major milestones.  I seriously doubt anyone will learn much of anything from it, but, if nothing else, it gives us a place to ramble on and showcase all of the stuff that we do.  We hope you at least get a kick out of it :)
